Wanaku is Ayamaran (the main language of the Bolivian Altiplano) for a small relative of the lama.
In 1996 I spent six months in South America. I was deeply impressed with the quality of the Ayamaran weaving fromthe highlands of Bolivia. So much so that I decided to start a business selling handicrafts from South America.
My business now shares a shop in Camden Lock Market with my wife's enterprise, Bohemian Jewellery.
Handspun Bolivian Alpaca.
A full range of:
hats, scarves and gloves (fingerless, mittens, fingerless with tops) now in store.
